The accountant position reports to the Finance Manager and will assist in managing accounting and purchasing activities and is responsible for ensuring the company’s financial transactions are recorded and reported in accordance with GAAP.


Working as a purchasing agent as well as accountant responsibilities.
Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports as needed.
·         Guides staff by answering questions to ensure proper input of information.

·         Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

·         Maintains financial security by following internal controls.

·         Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and data trends.

The duties and responsibilities listed above may be changed or supplemented at any time in accordance with business needs and conditions.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Previous accounting or purchasing experience preferred.
Proficient at intermediate or higher level in the use of Microsoft Office software suite.
Strong attention to detail required.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization and with external vendors.
Ability to work well independently or as part of a team with all levels of management with minimal daily direction.
