September AMI Installation Update

September 4, 2020 - Our AMI Installation is 72% complete, keep in mind that once a digital meter is initially installed, energy usage may seem higher but in actuality the period of usage was a bit longer. So, if your billed usage seems unusually high, check the “days” column on your statement.  New meters are installed based on the meter routes, so it would be difficult to tell exactly which areas will be covered at what time. Also, weather and the accessibility of meter locations can impact our installment schedule.

In the long-term, this will be an automated process where we will bill according to your reported energy usage for a more consistent billing period. For billing purposes, readings will be recorded on the 15th of every month, eliminating the potential for fewer days on one bill and more days on the next bill.
